Welcome to the History section of Clan Sinclair USA's website. The Sinclair's are an ancient family with a long, rich and interesting history. It is our purpose here to share with you some of that history.

The late Laurel Fechner had a passionate and undying interest in virtually all facets of Sinclair history. As the end product of extensive research, she assembled hundreds of pages of historical information about the clan, much of which she published on this website while serving as Clan Sinclair USA's Historian. Laurel's original history pages can be accessed from the above sub-menu. They contain a wealth of knowledge that is well worth preserving.
In the upcoming months, I plan to grow the History section by adding new submenu items covering a variety of historical subjects. It is my intent to present an accurate and objective account of the history of the Sinclair's, consistent with the ancient injunction "but truth conquers all."
